RETAIL PARK M\u00d6NCHENGLADBACH<\/h1><\/div><\/div><\/div>

Today's retail park follows a long-term vacancy of a formerly large Max Bahr store. Demolition work here was completed in September 2019. In the neighboring building, there was an Adler store in an outdated building with an oversized retail space.
The Hahn Group has developed a revitalization concept intended to modernize the location while taking into account the product ranges permitted by the municipality. The goal was to establish an attractive and contemporary retail location with a newly designed parking layout, barrier-free access, and an additional generous bicycle parking facility.
To ensure the operation of the fashion store continued without interruption, the construction work was divided into two phases, and the demolition of the old buildings was staggered. Thus, construction for the Adler market began first in November 2020; the building was completed and handed over in mid-July 2021. The opening took place as early as September 2021. Subsequently, construction for toom began, with completion and opening following in late February 2023.<\/p><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/section>\n\n\n\n

ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION FOCUS<\/h1><\/div><\/div><\/div>

During the redevelopment of the retail park, the issue of sustainability was given top priority. In addition to highly efficient building services and greened noise barriers, photovoltaic areas were used to generate renewable energy. A rainwater harvesting system was installed to irrigate the plants in the garden center. All roof areas as well as the outdoor areas are generously landscaped with greenery.
On the spacious parking lot, customers will find numerous parking spaces with EV charging stations that can be used around the clock. The car parking areas were equipped with generous infiltration surfaces.
The project is DGNB Gold certified.<\/p><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/section>\n\n\n\n
